So as I manage this extra time (read: Insomnia… anything to do with that Shimmering, Closer than Usual Full Moon?… who knows!) I think of all the things I’d like to say on my ‘makeover-ed’ LinkedIN Profile; so I go “conversational” on it, as they say, deals have been made on the site, and at this point in my life/career, seems like I need to make more of a deal (yeah, thinkin’ “Faust” right now!) with someone who VALUES experience, rather than another recruiter searching for keywords – and manageable consistency, as unfortunately, it’s a “Buyer’s Market” out there and they can afford to squeeze us through their incessant profile-ing…
[SIGHS...]
So I start typing… and typing… head into another paragraph, aghast at the thought of there being a “limit” in this the heretofore ‘bastion’ of Career Conservatism (what is with all those TIES and SUITS!… #OMG!)

Anyway, I, being the #Clipboardist that I am, do my usual shortcuttin’ to preserve the thought… and voila!… they actually allowed me to speak!… so what’s next?… keepin’ my fingers crossed for a proverbial Mephistopheles to #StumbleUpon it?… who knows, right?… as Simon rhymes it, it is “the age of miracles and wonders… and I also have a blog” (with apologies!)

Hope that’s candid enough perhaps for a venture capitalist or some other sort of person who may value them grey hairs and bald spots as what they truly are? proofs-of-experience? and not weaknesses to be discarded for the tautness of an unproven mind?
