Since I am bouncing around Europe this week, (come say hi at #tsc12 if you can), now is a good time to republish this list from a few months ago. It is still as relevant today as it was then:
1. “Social” is something you are, not something you do. If your company culture doesn’t focus on building relationships with your customers, then chances are that you won’t use social media to do it either.
So yesterday we did post a few from @LinkedIN that were filed under #JobsMonday… And today? Well, after ‘FaceWallin’ (one more!) #SenseiSaturdays (‘Zuck’s’ #Spideys’ diligently clustering atop all them Daily Encouragements! Keyword? #Ikeda!)…

Anyway, as I was sayin’/title-’in, the ‘furor’ of 48 hours ago, when I was able to reach out across the chasms and streams of all these manifold sites, to a certain someone whose constraints in defining a certain sought after profile, well, must be, for lack of a better word, somewhat “Macchiavellian” (yeah!… it’s hotter down THERES, ain’t it, Mephisto?) 
… and with fully-clarified access to the facts that ones current profile, is well, somewhat undefendable… looks like it’s goin’ backwards, so yeah…?
“I am SOOOO sorry, Mr. Employer!… I am not one of those, straight-to-the-top-not-only-was-I-capable-but-must-have-had-so-many-connections-that-well-do-I-need-to-say-more type…”
Seen them, no? (I guess maybe a #Transitional in this actuarially historic #GreatRecession may glimpse at this batch of vinegar-ey #SourGrapes and at least, reverberate?)
Anyway, today’s entry was supposed to be audio**; BTW, I’m testing out my Sea Legs, for lack of a better word, in terms of reach to the Southern Hemisphere, as who knows, glancing at the Stern Franchise yesterday made me realize there’s a profit in consistent nuttiness… and a release to one’s “Private Parts”, in the process.

I think of all the things I’d like to say on my ‘makeover-ed’ LinkedIN Profile; so I go “conversational” on it, as they say, deals have been made on the site, and at this point in my life/career, seems like I need to make more of a deal (yeah, thinkin’ “Faust” right now!) with someone who VALUES experience, rather than another recruiter searching for keywords – and manageable consistency, as unfortunately, it’s a “Buyer’s Market” out there and they can afford to squeeze us through their incessant profile-ing…

So I start typing… and typing… head into another paragraph, aghast at the thought of there being a “limit” in this the heretofore ‘bastion’ of Career Conservatism (what is with all those TIES and SUITS!… #OMG!)
